Royalty is going to the Twin Cities over the first weekend in November to see Vikings New Stadium!

Here's the game plan:

The King & I are flying to Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Delta Airlines. We leave New York LaGuardia Airport on Saturday, November 5th at 7:30AM Eastern Time, we arrive in the Twin Cities at 9:30AM Central Time if we're not delayed for any reason. Upon arrival, I'm renting a car from Payless Car Rental for the weekend. We plan to take a ride to Fargo, North Dakota upon arrival in hopes of getting to the Fargodome for a college football game. If not, we'll drive back towards the Twin Cities & make a stop off at St. Cloud State to see a college hockey game instead. Thankfully we gain an hour of sleep as the clocks go back an hour that night. We fly back home Sunday night after the main event of seeing a NFL game at US Bank Stadium on the former site of the Metrodome where the Minnesota Vikings now call home. Our flight departs the Mini Apple if you will at 7:40PM Central Time. We're scheduled to land at 11:21PM Eastern Time at LaGuardia Airport if all goes according to plan.    
   
Saturday November 5th Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs at St. Cloud State Huskies 7:07PM Central Time
                   
Sunday November 6th Lions at Vikings 12 Noon Central Time

Royalty is going to freeze watching hockey & football in the Upper Midwest in December!

The King & I are getting ready to hit the road again in December. This time we plan to freeze. We can hope mother nature isn't too cruel to us.

Here's the game plan:

Saturday December 6th we have a flight booked on Delta Airlines that departs LaGuardia Airport at 10:05AM Eastern Time we're scheduled to arrive in Minneapolis/St. Paul at 12:14PM Central Time.

Upon arrival, I'll be renting a car from Alamo for the weekend.

Saturday December 6th Alaska Nanooks at Minnesota State Mavericks 7:07PM Central Time or
                                               
                                      Colorado College Tigers at Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs 7:07PM Central Time 

Sunday December 7th Jets at Vikings 12 Noon Central Time

Monday December 8th Falcons at Packers 7:30PM Central Time
          
We'll be flying back home Tuesday morning. Our flight on Delta Airlines departs Minneapolis/St. Paul at 10:10AM Central Time. We arrive at LaGuardia Airport at 1:54PM Eastern Time.

The Prince sets a record for football games attended during the 2011 season!

After having a monster 2010 season of seeing 36 total football games (27 NFL and 9 College), I managed to surpass that in total in 2011. After all, living in the Northeast has its privileges.

In 2010, I saw more quality if you will and almost as much quantity.

I went to more venues and other parts of the country in 2010 which in some ways is much more impressive in my eyes.

In 2011, once the NFL lockout was officially over, I was able to follow through on my game plan. I knew I could see as many as 25 regular season NFL games. I usually shoot for 20 depending on how the schedule works out.

Thanks to many of the Northeast teams getting prime time exposure, I was able to take full advantage of the opportunity. I saw four NFL doubleheaders and I went to ten prime time games five on Sunday, four on Monday and one Thursday night during my recording shattering season.

In addition, I got to see four playoff games as well. One Wild Card, two Divisional Playoffs and the AFC Championship Game.

By doing so, I was able to keep my playoff streak of attending at least one every year since 1997 alive. I now have seen 38 total.

14 WC/15 DP/7 Championship Games/1 Super Bowl (Giants/Ravens) and 1 Pro Bowl.

Furthermore, I tied my 2010 record total of nine college football games too.
