Devils blanked by the Blues, 1-0!

The St. Louis Blues made their first ever visit to the Prudential Center.

The "Rock" opened in October 2007.

Thanks to Gary Bettman, the NHL Commisioner, who decided to make a schedule that not's so fan friendly.

With the outcome, the Blues should hope they come back to the "Rock" more often in the future.

As for the game, Alexander Steen of the Blues scored the lone goal of the game when he blasted a slapshot that went top shelf past the Devils goaltender, Martin Brodeur with only 13 seconds left to go in the first period.

Ty Conklin, the Blues netminder, best known for playing in the Heritage Classic in Edmonton as well as 2 different Winter Classic games that were played in Buffalo and Chicago.

He stopped 29 shots en route to his 4th shutout of the season.
