Ring of Honor Ceremony |
During halftime of the Giants/Bears game on Sunday night, the Giants organization paid respect to its storied 86 year history by inducting their inaugural class of Giant greats in their newly created "Ring of Honor".
The ceremony included the introductions of many of the 30 inductees that are still with us today. They saluted greats from all different eras of Giant football. They also acknowledged their owners and former head coaches.
Among those who were honored were:
The Mara family (Wellington, Jack and Tim)
Bob Tisch
George Young
Y.A. Tittle
Dick Lynch
Bill Parcells
Phil Simms
Lawrence Taylor
Harry Carson
George Martin
Tiki Barber
Michael Strahan
Armani Toomer
Jesse Armstead
They're located in the end zones in the North and South ends of the New Meadowlands Stadium.
If and when you get to a Giant game in the future be sure to look for them.
Thank you for reading.
Yours truly,
Gary Herman
