Fairfield shoots down Manhattan, 74-56!

The Stags from Fairfield, Connecticut came down to Riverdale and shot "staggeringly" well especially in the first half when they put the game out of reach. They lead early 11-8 after the Jaspers of Manhattan took a brief short lived 6-4 lead. The Stags ran off 16 straight points to go up 27-8. They lead by as many as 24 and wound up taking a 43-25 lead at the half. They never looked back cruising to a 74-56 victory.

Interesting side note the King and I were accompanied by our friend and royalty regular Frank Cougar. In addition, sitting to our right was Sean Crawford's father. Sean is a guard who plays for Fairfield. He was passionately rooting for his son and the Stags from start to finish. He said and I quote "I never seen this team play so well". We enjoyed his company as well. We all spoke to him throughout the game.

Our other friend Bryan Gilligan who graduated from Manhattan College was supposed to join us. Unfortunately he couldn't make it. He's a royalty regular as well especially during baseball season. His company was definitely missed.
