Triple Header Saturday

Mother nature cooperated!

3 sporting events in one day were witnessed start to finish. Ironicly all 3 home teams lost. Here's how they turned out.

In addition, see photos below.

Game 1 St. John's played a great first half. They lead 33-22! The second half belonged to West Virginia they completely took over. St. John's build their lead to 16. They lead 41-25 early in the second half. With 10:31 left in the game, West Virginia took the lead and never looked back. They went on to win easily, 79-60! They were lead by Da'Sean Butler who had 33 points including 7 for 7 from 3 point range.

Game 2 Hofstra started fast. They lead 15-2. Then they disappeared. Before you knew it Northeastern was right back in the game. As the game worn on, Northeastern kept building their lead. They went on to win going away, 75-55!

Game 3 The Islanders fell behind 1-0 then they tied up the game at 1. But they wound up giving up 2 more goals and went on to lose, 3-1!
