Midsummer Night's Dream was realized in the Midwest!

After months of preparation for this weekend getaway to the Midwest, here's how it played out.

I'll be doing many different posts to culminate this epic excursion.

The King & I and our friend Bryan Gilligan left New York LaGuardia Airport  Thursday morning via Delta Airlines enroute to the Twin Cities aka Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota.

We arranged to meet our friend Lloyd Ramsland who lives in Oradell, NJ. He preferred to fly out of Newark which was more convenient for him. He arrived in the Twin Cities a few hours before us.

In addition, we had another friend of ours, Steve Fekete aka the Padre Punk who also joined us for most of the trip. He came from Los Angeles. We arrived early so we had to wait a short time for Steve to get in. His plane arrived a little late.

Now with everybody together the dream was ready to be realized.

We went from the Twin Cities through the corn fields of Iowa. We passed through Hannibal, Missouri, home of Mark Twain on our way to St. Louis, the Gateway to the West. We continued across the show me state to Kansas City, Missouri as well as Kansas City, Kansas. We continued back up to the Twin Cities via Des Moines, Iowa.

In typical royalty fashion we covered a huge chunk of the country in a short period of time.

Stay tuned for the details of this memorable weekend.

Yours truly,

Prince Charming
